1. This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the processing of personal data obtained through the website polishwithkamil.com, hereinafter referred to as the "Website".

2. The owner of the Website and simultaneously the Data Controller is KAMIL JAKUBAS - LinguaEdu, ul. Spółdzielców 2d/10, 47-200 Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Poland, NIP: 7492124495, hereinafter referred to as the Controller.

3. Personal data collected by the Controller through the Website is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation), also referred to as GDPR.

4. The Controller takes special care to respect the privacy of Clients visiting the Website.

§ 1 Type of Processed Data, Purposes, and Legal Basis

1. The Controller collects information relating to visitors, students, and supporters using our services, hereinafter collectively referred to as Clients.

2. The Controller processes Clients' personal data in connection with the use of the Website for the following purposes:

  • Free Study Materials (PDFs): First name and email address to deliver requested resources via Kit (ConvertKit).
  • 1-on-1 & Group Classes: Contact details, timezone, and language level necessary to schedule and conduct live sessions via Google Meet.
  • Waitlists & Inquiries: Name, phone number, and message content when contacting us or joining waitlists via WhatsApp or email.
  • Memberships & Support: Profile details and transaction history when supporting us via Patreon or Buy Me a Coffee.

3. The legal bases for processing personal data are:

  • Performance of a contract or taking steps prior to entering into a contract — Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
  • Consent given by the Client for receiving newsletters or free materials — Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
  • Legitimate interests pursued by the Controller — Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

§ 2 Data Recipients

1. Personal data is transferred only to trusted service providers used in operating the Website: Squarespace (hosting), Kit (email delivery), WhatsApp (communication), Patreon and Buy Me a Coffee (payments and memberships), Google Meet (online lessons), and YouTube (embedded video content).

2. Financial transactions are handled directly by secure third-party payment providers. The Controller does not store credit card details on the Website.

§ 3 Cookie Mechanism and Technical Data

1. The Website uses small files called cookies provided by Squarespace to ensure core functionality and collect anonymous analytics data.

2. Clients can restrict or disable cookie access to their computer at any time within their browser settings.

3. Navigation data such as IP address, browser type, and operating system may be collected automatically for technical and security administration.

§ 4 Rights of Data Subjects

1. Under the GDPR, Clients have the right to access, rectify, or request erasure of their personal data ("right to be forgotten"), the right to restrict or object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time.

2. Clients also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (President of the Personal Data Protection Office - UODO in Poland).
